Facebook Permissions, or making it all so confusing!

Facebook has changed profile access permissions and has adopted a more ACL approach that will start take effect this Tuesday 1st of June. Everyone of you that have a Facebook application you will roll back to default permissions. The new look and feel the above screenshot that show all this richness of permission granting options. You get the above permission list with the following API call, giving as parameter the array of profile fields and actions you need to access.

Stickybits barcode info association platform raises 1.6M$

Stickybits raises 1.6M$ from VC second round. A service pretty similar to microsoft tags, less accurate since it involved 1D bar codes that to be honest I do not understand completely their business model. They charge tha prontings but the also provide free the barcode pattern associated with the information, so anyone can print it on their own expenses on their home printer. It looks that they want to acquire the value of their product catalog database as they grow, this would make better sense.

I am not pretty sure if this is the actual client of a server side running instance or the well known rich mathematical kernel that the software of engineers (I personally am a more Mathematica guy - declarative programming) all over the world.
Update: This is actual a mobile interface that administers tasks on a server side located kernel. The kernel can either be a single node or a cluster of nodes capable of performing parallel runs.

Museum of London AR iPhone app launched!
London is bringing the past to life for history fans visiting the capital.
The Streetmuseum application, which is available to download from the iTunes Store today, uses technology called augmented-reality which combines the phone's built in camera and satnav.
When the phone is pointed at a landmark, the app superimposes an historic images of London over the present-day view, along with a description.
